Consistency is the key for all big change.

 The other day I read somewhere that there is magic in the act of doing something over and over. Basically, there is magic is consistency. Anyway, boredom is making a major comeback in case you haven’t yet noticed. Boring is good. Sit with the boring. We are so used to being over stimulated because of the way our lives are structured that we have zero tolerance to being bored which is basically life minus the over stimulation (yes, those reels come to mind!)

While change is good and healthy from time to time. Learn to be consistently committed to your routine, even if it feels boring. Because guess what… that is your life. Embrace it and be passionate about it.

Instead of working out for two hours for two days in the week and then skipping altogether for a week, how about starting with just 20 mins for five days a week, and there after week after week. Instead of going on an extreme diet for a week how about moderation for the rest of your life. We can apply this to most things in our life in fact.

There are so many things we need to do on a daily basis to maintain our life and keep it running smoothly. Try to be mostly consistent with most of it. Sure, sometimes life happens. But get back on track quickly. Just because you did not do one thing as planned don’t let the entire day collapse.

No one is coming to tell you what needs to get done. So love yourself enough to impose the discipline to do it.

All the locks will open with the key called consistency.
