The knowledge action gap

Today we are chatting about something we all face all the time. It's the knowing of everything, but not necessarily the doing of everything. We live in times of an information overload. There is so much out there, it's overwhelming. And with social media, everyone has a lot to say about everything. There was a hilarious reel I saw, where they played out this very fact, you can do something very normal, and there is content out there just waiting to slap it in your face that you are wrong! It's paralyzing.

Now I feel we all are some where facing this "knowledge action gap" scenario. We know everything, because it is out there, and we consume so much. But we don't actually do it. I mean if we would, life would be near perfect. We don't do it because we want to cling to comfort, to the known. Our brain is designed that way after all. I know I should probably not have that third cup of coffee on hard days, but I still do. Comfort.



So today, I challenge you to pick three things which you already know (have the knowledge of) and plan to take action on in this week. Fill that knowledge action gap. You'll either love the result and keep going or may realize it's not for you. Nothing to lose.
