Will you be my Valentine?

 Today we celebrate love. Love is the simplest and yet the most complex emotion there is. I am rendered a bit speechless at this point, thinking whether I made the right decision picking this up as a writing topic….anyway, allow me to continue.

Love has been an ever-evolving concept for me. Sometimes it feels like a breeze and sometime like making it to Everest. There are few things I feel that translate to love…..So here is what a 27-year-old has learned about love so far:

-          That person staring at you in the mirror is the one you learn to love first. Without that pretty much everything will not make any sense.

-          Listen, without judging.

-          Ego will kill your relationship

-          And space will save your relationship

-          Never keep score because you are on the same team.

-          Gifting your time to someone is the greatest form of love.

-          Forgive fast, the invisible clock is ticking in the background.

-          Hard conversations make you stronger, so have them.
