Just the next right move….
Oprah taught this one… and man do we all need this one in today’s times. Overwhelm is everywhere. While we navigate life we may feel the need to know every single step carved out right at the start. This makes life very rigid and somehow restricts the flow.
Imagining everything can seem daunting because you are only in your head and actually doing nothing. Your brain is very aware about this thought. So here are the easy-peasy steps I follow that really help as reminders to myself:
- Know what you want- the end goal
- Jot down the steps
- Then DO NOT keep thinking about all the steps and the end goal all at once.
- Now here is the KEY: simply look at the next right move in that direction.
- Do not doom scroll on the gram: just the next right move. It could be as simple as getting a glass of water and going to bed
This will get you in momentum and momentum is magic. Tiny baby steps compound. And before you know it, you are closer to where you want to be.
