Life happened…
I was resistant to write this post today. Because it has been almost two weeks since I wrote anything. I lost my discipline to write and as days kept going by, I felt even more resistance because I thought what is the point if I have no consistency and discipline.
Luckily
the universe threw a very relevant reel my way demonstrating that it is okay to
fall off track and start again. The guy dropped a piece of clothing from the
laundry basket. Now when that happens, we just pick it up and put it back in the
basket right? Or do we drop all the clean laundry on the floor because one fell?
We somehow don’t find it hard to understand this, however when we derail from
out diet, exercise regime or any other discipline that we try to maintain we
just decide to call the whole thing off.
The
truth is your consistency is going to waver and life will continue to happen,
and you will continue to fall off track once in a while. So, when that happens
extend yourself some grace and be a little kind to yourself.

Resume eating well after that cheat meal

March back to the gym tomorrow if you
missed today
-
Resume writing even if you missed for two
weeks (to self)
- Meditate on your commute today for few
minutes if you missed your practice in the morning any anything else you need
to do but are not doing only because you stopped for whatever reason.
No
one will fine you for resuming. Progress >perfection.
